This isn't a bad overview, but there's a recurring framing across all media that's really misleading - the entire idea of "shutting" Roxham Road, as if that's a serious policy option, that it will stop the crossings, and that by not doing it, Trudeau is cheering on the migrants.
As the number of migrants entering Canada illegally surges, opposition politicians are pressing the government to close a rural border road and renegotiate a treaty with the U.S. that they say has fueled the crossings.
