We’d like to thank all those who chose to join an online protest this morning rather than attend in person. More than 150 people joined a video call after organisers of a protest due to take place outside Bristol Mags’ Court urged people to respect coronavirus regulations.

Despite the snowy conditions, yesterday we were there for the people of Wiltshire and surrounding areas, including Bath. We were called to five incidents and airlifted/assisted patients to the @RUHBath, @SalisburyNHS and @GWH_NHS - who we all wish a speedy recovery.

Bin collections have been suspended in the Forest of Dean because of the icy conditions
❗❗Bin collections for Forest of Dean district suspended for 25 January❗❗ To protect the safety of road users and our crews we will not be sending out our lorries due to the current dangerous road conditions. A 25 tonne+ lorry losing control on ice is a risk not worth taking.

🦠 There has been a Covid-19 outbreak at @BristolUni's Courtrooms accommodation. 🚪All 300 students living here are being told to self-isolate by the university. 40 students living here have tested positive so far.
