@bayesianboy I have several points of disagreement : you're arguing that all induction, including ML, is necessarily theory-laden. The argument's force is nullified by an overly broad definition you choose of "theory" as any "conceptualization". Your thesis becomes trivial. Moving on,

@RomainPete98794 Right. That would be a very weak argumentative structure, if that were the argumentative structure of the paper. Luckily the paper is available open access.
