Scientists!. We've built this digital space where brilliant minds can connect, share ideas, and support each other through transitions—whether they're dealing with relocations, institutional changes, or other disruptions that might otherwise slow their research momentum.

To be successful and scalable, DeSci needs to a) put science quality above speed and cost, and b) grow a thicker skin because science is constant critique. Current DeSci efforts are limited. Do any meet these two qualities at minimum?.

I'm teaching phenomenological psychology this Fall, complementing the brain, behavior and cognition course I thought this spring. After 15 years in the gov-industry desert, on a steady diet of minimally viable low-hanging fruit, it is an intellectual oasis. Reading suggestions?

Snapshots from the River of Consciousness. Along with rowing this Fall, I'll be teaching again at Duquesne. This time it will be the phenomenological side of psychology and consciousness - a complement to the natural science focused brain, behavior and cognition I taught in the

Scientific claims that are published multiple times are more likely to replicate than if published only once. And this is especially so if the multiple publications are from *independent* teams

Science is in a death spiral, but the fixes are short-sighted and one-dimensional. Who is offering the best ideas to fix science at this point?.

Another indirect effect created by (paper mill) frauds. Cleaning up now leads to 'all science' is bad. You can never win as a sleuth, never. And the frauds, they happily continue. Publishers need to wake up! They are the ones to stop it but. hardly act.

Great webinar yesterday. Good to see old friends and new - spanning nearly a decade of blockchain in healthcare and life science (what the kids call DeSci). Foundations have been laid and are beginning to bear fruit. Hats off to @Brit_blockchain for leading the way!.

Outstanding discussion of blockchain, healthcare and DeSci hosted by @Brit_blockchain - where they have been putting science on chain since 2018. Glad to be part of it!

Looking forward to joining my friends across the pond at @Brit_blockchain for this discussion next week. BBA has been putting science onchain at their journal since 2018. They have also driven the blockchian roadmap for the UK and now many other countries, including the US.

Before AI there was cybernetics, before that teleology, and before that cerebral inhibition. While the first teleology conference took place in Jan 1945, this event almost 3 years earlier hosted the first public discussions of McCulloch and Pitts' first artificial neural net
