I think one big problem in AI/ML today is perception of overlearning. People keep seeing the same sh*t over and over via blogs, videos, courses, so they feel like they understand it. But the moment you're asked to write code or explain things from scratch, you freeze or fumble.

Reading books for LLMs seems dubious. The author has only six months of GenAI experience, and the field changes rapidly, so the content will quickly become outdated. Stick with researchers' blogs and YouTube videos/tutorials.
