Friends of the Library are hosting a Christmas Book Sale at Toronto Reference Library, 789 Yonge on Thurs Nov 20 (9 am to 7 pm $2 admission), Thurs Nov 21 (9 am to 7 pm) & Sat Nov 22 (9 am to 4 pm). ​ All book sales proceeds will be used to support library programs and services.

Remembrance Day ceremony at 10:45 am on Tues Nov 11 in front of the Ontario Legislative Assembly at Queen’s Park. Wellesley W closed from Queen’s Park C E to W 9 am-noon. The ceremony can be observed virtually on YouTube

Macdonald Block Renovations started in Aug 2019 with a budget of $1.5B. Capacity will be expanded to 6,000 staff. Landscaping is almost complete, but interior work has an issue with elevator shafts/entrances. No completion date/revised budget available, but hope it's ready soon!
