Artist Tom W. Freeman (1952-2015) painted this cutaway of BB55 in watercolor, pen and ink, and colored pencil. Freeman’s artwork can be found in the collections of the White House, U.S. Naval Academy, the Pearl Harbor Memorial, and the Vatican.
