Fantastic work by @DambusterStudio! They took part in the @RobinHoodHalf and raised an incredible £710 for our charity - all their hard work means that we'll be able to provide vital support to young people in #Nottingham and #Nottinghamshire!.
We're proud to say that five Dambusters took on this year's @RobinHoodHalf !! 🏃♂️👟. Jack, Matt, Will, Adam, and James laced up their running shoes last Saturday and managed to raise £710 for the very worthy cause @base51!. There's still time to donate:

Areas in Nottingham are in the top 10% most deprived in the country, meaning that young people are living below the poverty line in our city. Base 51 are here to support young people in need - providing a safe place where they can talk to our Youth Workers and Counsellors.

Absolute poverty is when a person or household does not have enough income needed to meet minimum living requirements needed over an long period of time. In other words, they cannot meet their basic needs - food, warmth, safe home etc.

The Youth Endowment Fund has released a report "Beyond the Headlines- Trends in violence affecting children", looking at the year 2022/23. We want to share some of the facts from the report over the next few weeks - raising awareness for the crisis that is affecting young people

It was a real pleasure to have @NadiaWhittomeMP and @LilianGreenwood visit our Youth Centre to see the upgrade work that @Morrisons Foundation helped to fund! We want to ensure that young people in #Nottingham city centre and beyond have a safe place where they can access support.
Notts charity @base51 does amazing work providing activities and mental health support for young people. It was great to visit their new premises with @LilianGreenwood, speak to young people and celebrate their success in securing funding from the Morrisons Foundation. Congrats!
