A Gingerbread mould from back when it was boiled and pressed rather than baked. Spotted at Bakewell Old House Museum #fridayfinds

Some say, it's known as the church by the river... Can't imagine where they got that from! St James', along the Great Ouse, Hemingford Grey #WaterWednesday With the ball finials, it looks like a crown, right?

A lone segmental head window to the chancel at St James', Hemingford Grey Interesting tracery: an outer ogee intersected by a y to frame 2-lights; similar but different to St Mary's, Over just up the road; better descriptions welcome! #WindowsOnWednesday #TraceryTuesday

A letter written by Stephen Fuller, Fellow of Trinity College, dated 9th Sept 1741 gives an account of the storm, confirming the loss of the spires at Hemmingford & St Ives; while St Ives was rebuilt it was later crashed into by a pilot lost in the fog https://t.co/UDesmI9zcZ

Evidence of a South aisle or chapel remain in the church yard at St Edmund's Kessingland, Suffolk. Yes, it does somewhat look like a giant Pac-Man #MedievalMonday

The chancel at Botolph's, Cambridge, rebuilt in 1872 to designs by GF Bodley. The N & S walls are sadly now just white, the painting lost, so we can't appreciate the full scheme but still some great #adventAngels #stainedglasssunday #ceilingsonsunday

Sending my American family Cambridge prints for Christmas (and not mentioning Kings is older than the USA). Don't think the artist is on twitter but it's nice work and the prints were very reasonably priced https://t.co/6tPwZVsG64

From the inside we can see the door and window share the same pointed opening and the impressive depth of the tower walls; the West window very perpendicular (quite the contrast to the decorated windows to the aisles)
