Visited Mahurzari intertrappean near Nagpur. Known since 1955 and yielded very rich fossil woods of dicot and monocot,oldest grape fruit, is almost gone . Intertrappean beds are going with important information on biota. Very sad for palaeontologists.Heavy cost of development!!

Visited Jhilmili section after 2 years and we were all shocked to see that World famous section was encroched for agriculture activity. Soon it will disappear!! Very sad for all Deccan workers.

7-Day long National Science Exhibition was organized at VNIT, Nagpur where over 30+ scientific organizations participated. Department of Geology, Nagpur received an overwhelming response. About 15000 students including a child prodigy visited our exhibition!!
