Big loss for Ball State. I cannot emphasize enough what a safety blanket he was for the back end of the defense. Seeing him come up to make a tackle was a comforting sight. He’s a violent and sure tackler. Good luck Ashton!!

Caden Smoke Johnson was always a pleasure to watch in his time at Ball State. He had some injury issues this year that prevented him from really taking off and filling the stat sheet even more, but he’s undoubtedly a guy. Someone will get a great LB. Thank you Caden!
