This strikes me as an utter abandonment of his responsibility as a manager. I need to know who is on staff right now to tackle real issues happening right now. I shouldn't have to go to the gossip lines to learn who is still an employee.

Another of my group was laid off today, while on vacation. Our CEO hosted an all-hands. Much of it we expected: it was necessary, right-sizing, etc.. I was surprised however that there would be no published list of changes: we need to determine who survived on our own.
I've also just learned a project manager and my VP have also been laid off. Unsure yet how many in other divisions have been RIF'd. I suspect my days are numbered, probably to March 31, 2025, upon the completion of certain projects. We'll see if I'm right.

I've just heard that two senior & extremely awesome colleagues in my group are being laid off, effective in two weeks. Damn. This is not just a huge loss to the team, but we won't have the skillsets in-house to support our existing tech. ☹️

A friend of mine described Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as "hot af." Honestly, he's not my type but I would use "hot af" to describe Sean Fraser, Minister for Housing, Infrastructure & Communities and Member of Parliament for Central Nova.
