A beautiful and touching tribute for our slain colleague. Cannot iterate enough how much of a loss this is for journalism & for women who do war reporting - she was a pioneer.
Shireen Abu Akleh was an iconic and trailblazing reporter, renowned in the Arabic-speaking world. We spoke to several of her colleagues and friends on the day she was shot dead by Israeli forces.
