The struggle to understand the ballistic perception of a train driver’s view, coaxial to the train’s motion, from the panoramic perception of the train passenger’s view of landscape whizzing past the window in a blur.
The train I’m on is going alarmingly fast. It’s making me wonder about the driver’s state of mind. How often do train drivers have medical and psychological checks?
