@LNallalingham This! 100%! It took me three years, £110K in 'lodged funds,' + lawyer fees, + government fees. Then a citizenship test - which took me less than 180 seconds, whereupon it was assumed I had simply quit bc no one else there spoke English as first language. Now I pay massive UK

@LNallalingham Yes. Same for my wife. She paid a fair bit 15 years ago, so I can only imagine how expensive it is now. She's never claimed a penny of welfare and paid tax since the day she arrived.
