The tears of people treating CS skins as some sort of get rich quick scheme are quite tasty. I doubt people who are really in it for the love of the game (and indeed, for the love of the skins themselves) think this is a bad change at all.

The last several years have shown players to be incapable of coming together for any sort of effective action - and indeed, I'm not convinced of their ability to know what they even want! I would rather place my trust in the slow crawl of Valve's rulebook updates. Such is life.

With all the perceived problems with tier 2+ CS at the moment, it sure would be nice if the players could come together to form some sort of player's union and construct a cohesive set of requirements for a smooth scene! Oh well! Let's just blame someone else and move on.
