UPDATE: Lockdown lifted on APU's campus. You no longer need to shelter in place. Though police activity continues at Citrus College, the all clear has been given for APU. Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and understanding to help keep our community safe.

APU EMERGENCY ALERT: APU has received suspicious messages of a threatening nature to campus, including a bomb threat. Azusa Police Department is evacuating both Azusa campuses. If you are at or near the Azusa campuses, follow directions provided by APD & Campus Safety.

APU announces plans to return to campus this fall, with new practices to safeguard the health and safety of the university community. This reopening includes an earlier start date for the fall semester, which will begin August 24.

Today, APU honored acclaimed actor Jonathan Roumie, best known for his portrayal of Jesus in 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘯, with the 2024 Inspirational Artist Award. Jonathan also spoke in chapel, attended a luncheon in his honor, and met with APU theater students. Thank you, Jonathan!
Legendary recording artist, author, and actor Pat Boone signed an agreement today to donate a historic gift to APU’s School of Music to build a state-of-the-art scoring stage and recording studio, where aspiring performers &composers will learn their craft from renowned faculty.
Azusa Pacific University President Adam J. Morris, PhD, announced that the university has received a more than $13 million commitment from an anonymous donor, representing the largest gift in the institution’s 125-year history.
APU alumnus Dave Canales '03 was named the head coach of the Carolina Panthers. Dave served as offensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last year after spending the previous 13 years in several coaching roles for the Seattle Seahawks. Read more: .

Congratulations to APU alumnus Spencer Danielson '12, '13, on being named the head coach of Boise State's football team! Danielson was Boise State's defensive coordinator for the past 3 years and became the first interim head coach to win a conference championship in FBS history.
