Off to England to talk about LUX with... British Library, V&A, National Gallery, National Archives, Natural History Museum, Oxford University, Cambridge University, and so on. So happy it's gaining traction, and excited to see who's next. https://t.co/HaDO62WwhI #YaleLUX

A couple of media pieces about LUX so far: * Popular Science: https://t.co/ruDvFflIWv * Yale News: https://t.co/Mhfo07Ys2J I'm still smiling from the popsci one's use of all my examples and quotes. Chuffed they used my pinboard analogue.

Very cool to see #YaleLUX launched. It is a single resource to search across Yale museums, libraries & archives. And @iiif_io compliant! Wonderful resource.

More than 100 people directly contributed to the success of the work, over a span of 5 years. The university and the Mellon Foundation believed... and the collaboration delivered. Even more... the source will be open as soon as possible, so anyone can follow our lead w/ #YaleLUX

It is built on the shoulders of giants that I've had the great pleasure and privilege to be part of: the amazing community around #IIIF [follow next week's conference!] and the equally amazing participants in https://t.co/akIJVGsdRl.

It's built around two core visionary principles: that knowledge should be easily, freely accessible to anyone, anywhere at any time; and that all knowledge is connected. We have realized both, and so much more.

I moved to Yale during the heart of the pandemic for the opportunity to lead the technical side of this highly collaborative, innovative project building a ground breaking product that provides deep and rich access to Yale's collections.
