curious: why no persistent identity?. if every grid + the mesh issue separate identities, impersonation becomes trivial. feels like a big security risk unless iβm missing something.
@axhoff key exchange only happens for mesh chat. is that where it failed?. yes mesh and grid are separate. new identity for every geohash.

@jack so far a few bugs iβve hit:. > new user joins grid, DMs someone - βnew msgβ pops up but no name in list .> blocking fails (βnot found / unable to verify identityβ) .> key exchange broken - encryption unusable .> unencrypted comms send with no warning .> DMs between mesh &.

organizing a first bitchat meetup on monday. join #u2 to learn when and where.
bitchat just leveled up. now you can chat + discover people in geographic grids. >no central servers.>local discovery solved.>end-to-end encrypted.>mesh-ready.>cypherpunk vibes. nerd bliss, but social.

i had the same thought yesterday while talking to a friend. there might be more powerful models, but they will just be tools, like hyper-smart ants. agi seems less likely. we might not create new life after all.
i don't think we are getting agi. can't really pinpoint if it was gpt-5 or the grok gooner mode . feels like this is kinda it.

the european pension system is broken. not (just) me saying it - thatβs @traderepublic running an ad saying: βretire rich, do it yourself.β. neo-brokers are saying the quiet part out loud to @EU_Commission. love it. politicians sold illusions. weβre left to fund reality.

βdecentralizedβ.
The largest #bitcoin mine in America calculates 10,500,000,000,000,000,000x algorthithms per second powered by 700 megawatts of electricity.

good that there is a new mining kid on the block. @protomining.
I donβt know what is more concerning the 1 sat/vB fees or the fact 8 blocks in a row were mined by a KYC captured US miner.
