My favorite thing about working at @OpenAI is being given the total freedom to dive deeply into your rabbit hole of choice. My choice was the Kubernetes scheduler and I've written a personal blog post sharing some interesting things I've learned about it

Career Update: I will be joining the Supercomputing team @ OpenAI starting next week. The progress of the AI industry in the last few years has completely exceeded my expectations and I'm glad to be entering such an exciting field!

Wow, AWS Amplify is amazing. It's my first time using the tool and I was able to host a React App on a custom domain in < 1 minute

I almost quit the software industry after 2 boring internships at Symantec and Nvidia. Thankfully I had a great internship at @Twitter that made me reconsider. I'm still surprised how one good internship had a such an impact on my career

A friend recently showed me @tabtheapp . It's the best bill-splitting solution I've seen so far. The person who paid takes a picture of the receipt and then everyone taps on the items they consumed. Venmo charges are then automatically sent out

You might be surprised by what people like. I almost didn’t write about SimpleDB because I felt it wasn’t original enough and it “already had a Github page”. But in retrospect SimpleDB was by far the most successful thing I’ve written

The most practical Vim setup is an IDE extension imo. Then you get to keep all your IDE features, plugins, and integrations while still getting all the text carving benefits of Vim

This accomplishment is also partially due to the success of Rosetta 2, which is Apple’s x86 translation system. Rosetta 2 can translate x86 apps upfront upon download (AOT) or while running them (JIT)

Excellent Git extension which lets you create, rebase, and merge a stack of dependent PRs in a single command. I love "stacked PRs" because I can work on next steps while my previous PRs are still in review

My favorite answer to "whats the worst thing you had to debug". TLDR: Someone modified the C compiler to make compiled programs print offensive messages. This infected compiler binary could also replicate if asked to compile its own original source code
