I have been saying this for years about SF NIMBY hypocrites.
Something the soc-dem left has had trouble owning up to is that its ideas about housing are basically "nationalist." Mamdani's position is that people currently inside of NYC's borders shouldnt have to compete with rich outsiders for housing inside of NYC; and that preserving.
