Did you know that Christ ✝️ shares the same root and meaning with 🇮🇳 Sanskrit घृत ghṛta (sprinkled, anointed) from verb root घृ ghṛ (to sprinkle, to wet, to shine) whence घृतम् ghṛtam (Ghee, clarified butter), thus घी ghī, ঘি ghi etc. Christ comes from translation of Messiah.1
मसीहा masihā ( messiah) is an Arabic origin word in Indian languages. It came from Arabic مسيح masiḥā (the anointed one, अभिषिक्त) via Persian. The word "Christ" is from old Greek loan translation Χριστός khrīstós of the Hebrew word משיח mashīah for an anointed one. 2\2

Sanskrit घृत (anointed) is from verb root घृ (to sprinkle, to wet), Christ is from Ancient Greek Χριστός khrīstós which has the verb root χρῑ́ω khrī́ō (to smear, to anoint). Both these roots share the same proto-Indo European root *gʰrey (to smear).

Incidentally, Tendai School divides Buddha's teachings into 5 periods, equated to 5 flavours of milk during the making of ghee viz. fresh milk, cream, curdled milk, butter, and ghee. Ghee is held to be the greatest of all flavours - the ultimate truth of Buddhism, nirvana.
