*Just killing time and cleaning out my photos. Work is slow and I’m thinking about what to make for dinner this evening. I just enjoy cooking and reading history, there’s nothing morbid about it really.

She wants me to let anyone listening know that, on my way home today, I asked her if we still had a can of haggis in the cupboard. This is where good stories come from.

Tongues are far more tender.

Meaning beef hearts. Not entirely sure if I’ve eaten a cow’s lungs before. Haven’t eaten many of their hearts, either. I’ve eaten parts of a heart that size on three separate occasions, every time roasted on skewers, but all combined it wouldn’t account for an entire heart.

To be completely honest, it was something of a pain in the ass. It requires time and preparation, not to mention money, to eat in such a way. In the end I suppose it just depends on one’s priorities. All I know is that I’m steaming broccoli and carrots. I like them a bit crunchy.
