Today, I was thinking about what I learned teaching kindergarten, applies to other grades too. What are some of your experiences? https://t.co/HO9P0iQFCp

This is one of my longer blog posts inspired by the Math Part 2 course and some student problem solving. Have you had any similar experiences? https://t.co/As8CGaaRGu

Apparently, Iβm also tired enough to make some typos. π My apologies.
A post that's a little different than my usual ones, but sometimes we just need to keep it real. https://t.co/OnD0UbQCxy

I understand that not everyone feels this way about writing report cards, but I needed to share a little joy. Thoughts anyone? https://t.co/2Og5U7tFP4

When my absolutely epic day book binder opens and everything falls out. That was something I was not expecting to put back together this morning. The better math question is, based on the size of this binder so far, how many binders will I need for the year?ππ€£

Wahoo!! Progress reports are done (and edited), and boy am I happy! I need to blog at some point as I truly feel that years writing Communications of Learning really helped me when writing these.β€οΈ

I can't believe I'm saying this, but only two Progress Report comments left to write, and then it's time to proofread. Yay!! Hope your report card writing is going well this weekend.

As I begin writing my Grades 2 & 3 Progress Reports, I can't help but share Twitter updates. So far, I've written 12/20 Learning Skills comments today. I'm actually loving this. To me, these are like the K Communications of Learning. I can really capture a story for each child.π

How many times can Aviva get lost entering&leaving a building,& finding her car?! This is almost a problem where we could explore big numbers.π€£π Todayβs PD came with some unexpected learning & adventures. This did lead to quite a few additionalπβ¦more math learning perhaps?!π

What brought me joy today? Doing some Acadience progress monitoring on 4 students after two weeks of targeted instruction. They all improved in both words correct and fluency β¦ most, quite significantly. I loved celebrating this growth with them. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ

A great conversation with a colleague the other day has me thinking about the value of seeing learning and spaces in action. What does this look like for you? https://t.co/L9TcQ1kyDF

Now that Iβm teaching Gr. 3 (a 2/3 class), I have access to the MathUp resource. Iβm really digging into it this weekend. I love the connections between the grades and the points around differentiated instruction. I appreciate the multiple entry points into the activities β€οΈ
