I really don't know why Caddy never took off as an alternative to the LEMP/LAMP stacks. Working on a Franken stack for local development. That includes Caddy / FrankenPHP, MariaDB, Mailpit and WP-CLI.

Here's a fun new command _do hidden-plugins. It locates WordPress plugins attempting to hide themselves.

My new development workflow is: Combine a codebase into a single dump.txt > Talk to Google Gemini > Code a bit > Repeat.

This one got a little crazy. Customer has 152,882 images in their uploads. After running `_do convert-to-webp --all` it reduced their storage usage from 52GB to 17GB. Warning this is a destructive process so make sure you have a full backup before running.

Makes me happy to see PressConf and now LoopConf restarting/rebooting. Haven't ever attended either however I love seeing more people gathering together around WordPress.

Just pushed out v1.1 of CaptainCore _do It includes many of the power features behind CaptainCore like checkpoints powered by git, updates with an easy to revert option and cron scheduling.

I'm really happy how this new _do CLI is coming together. 1 week ago that was purely an idea. It's already feeling pretty good and usable. Follow along here: I'm thinking about extracting more goodies from my CaptainCore toolkit into _do.

After years of random WordPress bash scripts, I started pulling them together into a new standalone bash CLI, CaptainCore Do: As always 100% open source, MIT licensed.

Google Gemini is amazing. Taking an 8 year old script and making it better.

Revamped my crude identify bottleneck plugins script: It's not really a performance tool but can help quickly identify when something is really wonky and slowing everything down.

People will think twice before sending out an email blasts.
