Council President @Griff4CLE6 joined the Mayor and Fair Employment Wage Board to spotlight new worker protection laws including living wages, wage theft prevention, and pay transparency. A big step forward for workers in Cleveland!

Great to see @CLEMayorsOffice and @Griff4CLE6 cracking down on wage theft and pay inequity! A proud moment in my time in City Hall was helping revive this dormant board and pass critical workers’ rights legislation with our union partners. Excited to see the work carried on.
We are fighting for Cleveland’s workers! We have revived the Fair Employment Wage Board, which is now operational for the first time in 20 years. This October, the Pay Transparency Law will go into effect. As Labor Day approaches, we honor labor’s role in building Cleveland.
