- the reason im creating a new account but still sharing it here is bc im tired of being seen as someone to idolize or hate no matter what i say. i want to be normal & not just a person with a bunch of followers or an “influencer”. im sharing my new acc for friends not followers.

- yes i will share my new account here before i leave but as i probably wont be posting about sig in the same capacity as before, you obviously dont have to follow. we can still be friends if you want, i just want a fresh start :).

- i will be making a new account, and i may still interact in the sig fandom very sparingly. my new account will NOT be only sig themed. i will be posting about whatever makes me happy currently, so there will be lots of my other hyperfixation dandys world.

some things i want to clarify:.- i am not leaving twitter, just this account and name. i want to start over, not leave.- i no longer feel comfortable (besides a few close friends) being called apple.

when i eventually make a new account i probably will post about it, but for now, i am most likely going to stay off for a bit❤️.

im sure this probably sounds like a whole lot of yapping about nothing at all but i find it more comforting to explain myself as best i can, i just want ppl to understand how much ive been struggling and why im making this decision. thank you.

i most likely will still be in the sig fandom as well as the dandys world fandom, just on a new account. like i said, i just wanna start anew, so i can start trying to move on from these pains that have affected me so deeply.

apple is still a special name to me, but i no longer feel comfortable with people i barely know/dont trust to use it, so i will probably be adopting a new name too.

i guess im not entirely sure how to explain how i feel, but i know i can no longer keep doing this, and i know i need a fresh start. which means its time for me to leave this account for good.

—are scared to talk to me because of my following or smth like that. i just want normal. i just want to be like any other person in a fandom. i dont want to restrict myself to please others. i want to prioritize my own happiness again.

i know it may sound pretentious, but im terrified of being some kind of influencer too. people genuinely see me as one and it makes me feel sick. i dont want people to blindly follow me or harass others for me. i just desperately want friends, not people who—.

the attention ive gotten from this fandom has been terrifying and humiliating and has made me no longer feel the joy i used to have when i first discovered sig and it makes me devastatingly sad. i miss it so much.

—each day i force myself to try and find the comfort and joy i used to have from this account. instead of that, i just feel pure unimaginable dread. i fear every time someone calls me apple. i feel sick with worry everytime i get a new notification.

it honestly may not come as a shock for a lot of you, and this may even make some of you happy to know ill be leaving this account and thats fine, but im just /so/ tired, and i have been for quite a long time. all these emotions have been stewing and becoming more painful—.
