Treasurer Noah Everson noted that ASA has $2,500 left in LDF funding for the rest of the year. Sen. Anyim motioned to approve the request of $1,600. Sen. Dick introduced and passed an amendment to the motion to fund $1,100. The amendment passed providing $1,100 in an LDF to ACTS.

Next, representatives from the Augustana Collaborative Theatrical Society requested an LDF of $3,000 to fund a trip to The Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. Mikennah Oleson and Vaughn Schneider a representatives from ACTS reduced the amount requested to $1,600.

Up next, Ignite Club is requesting a CDF of $150 for an event where attendees will create vision boards. The senate approved the request.

Up next is grant requests. Augustana Republicans requested a CDF of $1,000 for a firearm safety training event held on Nov. 16. The finance committee recommended funding $500. There were no representatives from the club present so the request was postponed until the next meeting.

The senate is moving on to new student organizations for approval. Up first is Pre-Law Club. Representatives said the club is intended to bring together pre-law students and students interested in law. The senate approved the creation of the Pre-Law Club.

Sen. Seeley motioned to table the bill until the next meeting citing miscommunications about the club's current budget.

In old business, representatives from the Psychology Club addressed the Senate to request a $150 CDF for an upcoming event. They also highlighted discrepancies between the account balance they see and the balance reported by ASA.

In diversity, equity and social justice, Sen. JayVian Farr said they are working on deciding the venue for the Diversity Summit.

In curriculum, Sen. Avery Gilman said they are working on developing Native American and Africana curriculum, remodeling language testing to focus on oral proficiency and expanding research opportunities. Sen. Gilman also highlighted that the Via Viking program passed.

In co-curriculum, Sen. Gracen Juffer said they will be introducing new reproductive health posters, refilling condom dispensers, and hosting three upcoming events on CPR, first aid, and mental health.

In housing and dining, Sen. Lydia Valenzuela-Rylaarsdam said they are working to address student mental health, the local food tours, supporting the Campus Cupboard, and partnering with local laundry companies to provide laundry supplies.

Next, President Johnston announced The Augustana Student Association (ASA) History Conservation Fellowship Program which seeks to celebrate and document Augustana University’s student-led legacy by preserving the history of ASA, student organizations, and campus engagement.

Next, President Johnston briefed the senate on a new program that recognizes student organizations for implementing sustainable practices in their operations and events.

In the president’s report, ASA President Annie Johnston said the executive administration is launching a program called Ole Advantage which will reward students for attending Augustana sports games.

The meeting was called to order and Sen. Adhikari opened the floor for public voice. Seeing as there was no one to address the senate in public voice, Adhikari introduced SALT President Gabbi Rabboni to give an update on the organization.
