@Icelandair UPDATE: @Icelandair has WAITED SO LONG to track down our baggage that the bag tag isn't EVEN TRACKABLE ANYMORE! They forwarded our bag with @united who don't even have a way to find the bag anymore because @Icelandair never followed up on making sure it made it!

We don’t have the luxury of not flying Icelandair, so we can’t boycott the company, but rest assured that we will never give them our bags again without our own trackers inside.

if you know anybody who could assist us in any way, it would be much appreciated. Barring that, maybe @visir_is or @mblfrettir might be interested in investigating how poorly they treat their citizens.

There seems to be a complete lack of communication between airlines and airports or a willingness to follow through and finish the job they are responsible for. We’re at our wits' end and do not know what else we can do other than shaming them on social media.

And it seems that their entire department cannot do much of anything other than send an email to “check on it. Icelandair is responsible for finding our bag but it doesn’t seem like we are able to hold anyone accountable to actually following through on their jobs.

At what point will you admit that your processes do not help your customers? We are unable to escalate the issue. We are unable to talk to a supervisor who takes responsibility, and we can't get a clear answer about where the bag is.

There are invaluable, custom-made hand-knit items for my unborn son in that bag that are irreplaceable and it is shameful how poorly they have handled our case. We have called repeatedly only to be given the same run-around answer.

when it comes to giving their customers any answers. They LITERALLY DO NOT have a process in place to find our bag. It's been 13 days and their response is that they're "waiting for the airport to email them back." WTF?!? Pick up the phone, get somebody on the line and fix it!

This is day 13 of @Icelandair being completely unable to locate our bag from our flight from JULY 31st. Not only have we had complete lack of customer support, but we’ve also uncovered their complete institutional failure and lack of protocols...

“If a thing is worth doing, it’s worth doing badly while you get better at it.” Just heard this quote on a podcast and it sums upthe reasons why I teach musicians how to make their music sound better. Your first mix won’t sound great, but it’s worth improving upon.

Hey musicians and producers: The solution to a boring mix is usually found in the production, not in your plug-in folder.

“Musicpreneur” Noun. An entrepreneur in the music industry. Usage: “I am a musicpreneur, which means I am pretentious, but I’ve earned it.”

Here’s another pervasive piece of audio advice that’s perfectly safe to ignore. (Not the mic placement part, that’s valid, even if you don’t always have that option). But this “never boost” nonsense is terrible advice that keeps you from fully making use of your tools.

If you lack focus, clarity, and positivity: - Get more sleep - Stop drinking - Exercise - Take Lion’s Mane and Ashwagandha every day In two weeks, you’ll become more creative than 95% of humanity.

Neil Gaiman’s #1 Tip for Writing Any Creator Can Use: - You can absolutely do nothing - Or you can write But you can’t do anything else Soon, you’ll be so bored doing nothing that writing will feel liberating.

Some artists can’t devote the first hour of the day to creating (kids/family/work/etc). The artists that succeed are the ones that still find one in the 23 hours remaining.

If you’re creative, the easiest thing to make is excuses. If you stop making excuses, you’ll free up all that time to make something you’re actually proud of. Leave a comment if you’re done making excuses.

If you heckle me in the comments section, you will be treated as such. The whole world is a stage but some people choose to sit in the audience instead…

Two rules that have helped me become more creative: 1. Stop caring what they think 2. Stop thinking that they care It’s incredible what you unlock when you follow those two rules.

Creativity should be shared. If you don’t want to share it, it means you are not confident enough to show your work to people without feeling embarrassed. Confidence supercharges creative work.
