I remember this time last year, sobrang sakit pa para sa akin na hindi ako nakapasa, I decided to book a flight during the date of last year’s oath taking. Successful naman, di ako mashadong nalungkot. My heart goes out to all those who didn’t make it. I’ve been there. Laban!!

Nandito na talaga ako sa point ng buhay ko na when I don’t know what to do, magdarasal lang talaga ako. Lord, as always, I have kept my faith in you. I lift everything up to you.

I remember a professor who emphasized to us na do not just pray to become a lawyer. Kasi once you become a lawyer, what’s next? Pray for God’s guidance to become a GOOD lawyer. After all, that’s what’s important. Now, sibs, let us all pray to God to help us become GOOD lawyers.

I know, I’ve been there. When I failed the bar last year, there were no right words to comfort me. Even my family, friends, and loved ones did not know the right words. It is because there’s no words to make us feel better. Alam ko masakit. Kung handa na kayo, andito lang kami.

Are there any recommended books to read for someone who just passed the bar? :)

Criminal Law — Prosec G Notes all the way Remedial Law — Compendious + Gito Notes Legal Ethics — Lawyer’s Oath; Compendious I really followed the advise to just stick to one material. You don't need to read everything. If you think it doesn't work for you, then switch notes.

I am sure I did not have the perfect way of reviewing for the bar exam. I am also sure that this is not the best way to review for the exam. But let me share some of the things that worked for me. At the end of the day, do what works for you. You do you.

Back in my own unit after spending the holidays with my family. As I was saying goodbye to my little sister earlier, I told her that the next time we’ll see each other again, I’ll be a lawyer na, with God’s grace. Lord, this is not just for me, but for my family as well. 🙏🏻🩵

Gusto ko lang sabihin na mas nakakakaba pala ngayong second take ko, kaysa nung first take ko.
