So which Australian's🇦🇺 are predicted to medal at the Tokyo🇯🇵 World Championships according to the "average rank" method ** ?. Table below shows the six athletes with an average rank (AR) of less than 6. Historically this has been 85% accurate. A couple of athletes are not

Going by the 'average rank' method (see separate post) there are 6 strong medal chances (average rank less than 6) which would equal the best ever.And there's always some outside that "<6" category that come through with a medal - history therefore suggests 8-9 medals . sounds.

Problem with aggregating times is - in this case - it's bias towards the bigger number ie easier to get a big time difference 400m cf 100m. If you use WA tables/points things change - Kerley actually comes out #1 . the 9.76 / 10.09 difference is 115 points whereas 400m diff is
