Additionally, prominent artists like Director Maik Tee were handed 7-year sentences just for criticizing a state-produced propaganda film.

According to Athan’s monitoring, arrests surged to 74 cases in November alone as the campaign period began. In a chilling example of this crackdown, three youths in Hlaing Tharyar were sentenced to 49 years in prison simply for posting anti-election posters.

The newly enacted "Election Protection Law" is being weaponized as a tool to give critics sentences ranging from a minimum of 3 years to life imprisonment or even the death penalty.

This online survey consists of 35 questions designed to help respondents explore their personal emotions in relation to external factors.
