Hundreds of linesman from numerous out of state power companies have converged on Omaha to assist exhausted @OPPDCares crews with necessary electrical repairs. In the morning they begin days and likely weeks of draining work. We humbly welcome them to Omaha with open arms.

Thank you for such a great endorsement. We hope to teach threat assessment to as many people as possible so we all know how to prevent school shootings.
Great training on Threat Assessment and Management. An excellent tool for mitigation and prevention to law enforcement and education. @SigmaTMA @drm_tenenbaum @melissareevessp

If we want to help our communities recover from trauma, we must, as appropriate for each person, take the time to learn about the experiences of survivors and responders: “With each new mass shooting, San Bernardino survivors worry about being forgotten”

"He (@FrankDiane72) shared a message of peace, hope, inspiration, recovery and the importance of relationships" Encouraging us to be optimistic and compassionate, a good read on his recent talk in New York:

Excellent article on a mass shooting that was disrupted / averted. Underscores vital importance of bystanders speaking up when something is out of place, Also highlights difficulty of "proving" causation when something violent doesn't happen. https://t.co/vUsOdVnEBv

This is never a good spreadsheet to be updated but if you are looking for a real-time tracker of US mass shootings for more reliable data, @MotherJones is one good resource:
