A coalition of education and civil rights organizations, led by the American Association of University Professors (@AAUP), has filed a lawsuit challenging recent Executive Orders targeting diversity, equity, and inclusion programs in higher education.

Nearly 2 million acres of Indigenous lands are reserved for state prison systems in 10 states. In 2024, those lands disbursed an estimated $33m in funding to carceral facilities & programs. Four states use those lands to fund detention facilities and systems for children. 🔗⬇️
