It looks like there were two versions of the 1983 Christmas closedown clock. The blue one and the black one... I've had a go at the black one, not sure it's quite there yet, though... (Real one from @tvark)

Early Oracle from 1973, with monochrome display, 2-digit page numbers, all caps and no graphics. Up to 50 "displays" were available in this "new service from ITN". (Ignore the colour graphics page, that's from a different year!)

If you add in the widescreen version broadcast on the station's last day on air... https://t.co/iO3DV0zGeI and the MOCK of the Christmas-themed logo here https://t.co/2jwF5hF0sS, I think that makes 32 different versions you can view! Happy 55 years, London Weekend stripy logo!

On this day in 1970, London Weekend began using a new logo on screen, with a flowing blue, white and orange stripe. There was also a version with the orange and blue reversed, which introduced S1E7 of Don't Drink the Water. To celebrate, I re-created it:  https://t.co/H4dNzBVcBS.
