The Japanese Urological Association has released its Clinical Practice Guidelines for Urethral Stricture. I served as the chief panel for this project. I hope that the level of urethral stricture treatment in Japan will reach the global standard.

Our new paper has just been published. We found that half of the patients who underwent EPA for bulbar urethral stricture had squamous metaplasia, a precursor lesion to urethral stricture.
