Admittedly, I was being provocative when i tweeted "when they get charged differently..." but the fact of the matter is that this phenomenon, if it even actually happens, is not discrimination but often a manifestation of your r/s (or lack thereof) w the stallholder.
The reason chn peeps are so wounded when they get charged differently at the nasi padang stall is that that's possibly the only time they have felt discriminated against because of their race in their own country. *fucking guffaws in minority*

It's a malay food stall. Malays frequent it because it's usually their only option in a sea of non-halal food options. Stallholders sometimes favour their regulars (who are not always mly) with small discounts and/or better portions. The end.
