Last week, The Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks awarded Aspen 5th grade student Rose J. the Rotary Youth Citizenship Award highlighting her exceptional leadership and citizenship. Way to go Rose!

We’re happy to share that Aspen was awarded a $3,000 check for winning 2nd place in the social media category! Approximately 780 schools registered for the nationwide challenge & collectively recycled over 420,000 lbs! So glad to keep plastic out of our landfills! ♻️ 2/2

We took part in the Trex Plastic Film Recycling Challenge and collected a total of 332 pounds of plastic film, which will be recycled into composite Trex decking and other outdoor products. Each month, we shared our efforts on social media! 1/2
