What a massive clusterfuck. Amazing they spent so much money on the stadium and the most important part ended up with the same issues as the predecessor. It’s like something out of Utopia or Veep.

Sydney’s current venue hire agreement ends this season, and the good money is on a lot of games being played away from Moore Park in the future if Venues NSW and SCG can’t sort anything out. This is also what happens when you sign a 10 year lease before the stadium is built.

Finding it very hard to be outraged/upset over a podcast clip of a footballer retelling a story from when he was 14 (15 yrs ago) about how he was told he wouldn't make it. He hasn't been fantastic but don't see why he can't be proud of making it to pro level or his determination.
Our Goalkeeper everyone 👏. Imagine posting this two weeks after you shipped 3 goals in a half and got subbed off. I'm sure some u12's manager out there is feeling pretty vindicated right now

Finding most of the comments and cliches used in this to be pretty much nonsense. So the club wants to implement a long-term vision, and they offer a one-year extension? Very disheartening day for Sydney supporters.

The CEO statement was a solid thing to put out, but zero mention of anything other than exits so far isn't really good enough. We all know Max Burgess is certainly, most definitely gone. Why not just put out that statement now at least?.

Rumours kicking around now of Joe Lolley and Anthony Caceres both departing the club, all while there's been zero comms on situations of several other players and Ufuk Talay. It's time for the club to give supporters some info on what's going on. Smells rotten at the moment.

Same again with the women's vote asking for one for the entire existence of the dub side. 1) Dub wasn't formed 20 years ago.2) team of the decade is a tried and tested method .3) keep it simple!.

Like it's actually not possible for either of these sides to compete with each other for spots in the one, 20-year team. I mean, obviously Rudan, Vedran, and Antonis can be easily fired into the sun.

This is where I'm headed for my personal 2015-2025 Team of the Decade. Very hard to fit some players in and work out which one-season wonders fit and which ones don't.
Love that the club is doing a fan vote for 20th anniversary, but find it a bit odd with how it's been done. IMO, it should just be voting on a Team of the Decade from 2015-2025. Hard to compare and honour the likes of first-decade greats like Colosimo, Bolton with Wilko or Bratts.

He brought goals, vibes, shithousery, and unpredictability. Will be sorely missed and fondly remembered - one of the great one-season wonders.
