Intriguing discussion at #TPC2023 on Jack of all Trades questioning what ticketing systems should supply in addition to “core functionality related to selling tickets”. Sounds like going back to the 90s & forgetting it is venues & arts orgs that drive what suppliers deliver

I love it when a website says ‘contact us if your question isn’t answered’ and so you do and then a week later they send you a stock answer with even less information than you had to start with.

Is this thing still on? For those brave souls still wandering around the vast chasm of Twitter just remember that when loading luggage in the overhead bin, make sure those wheels are facing out! #TravelTips

Amazing experiment will soon be underway.
Everyone who turns 18 in 🇩🇪 next year will receive a €200 voucher to spend on cultural offerings. Young adults will be able to buy concert tickets, vinyl & more with the KulturPass. Aim is to expose young people to the arts & provide a financial boost to the cultural sector.

Fascinating. 1. Some people had genetic advantages to their immune system that helped them survive plague in the 1300’s. 2. These advantages survive today. This super immune system is now more likely to attack itself as an autoimmune disorder.

It’s good, folks. Should be in your podcast mix.
A reminder for anyone teaching anything about emotions this year - whether in psychology, sociology, healthcare, or medical humanities courses - our "Living With Feeling" podcast series covers loads of great topics that might work as seminar preparation... 😇👇

I’m calling it: there will one day be a play written by artificial intelligence, with characters that argue that plays should be written by artificial intelligence.

Your pet’s X-rays read diagnosed by A.I. Early days, but coming on strong. Oh, and the salary and benefits paid to radiologists? No need for that with A.I…

Just once I’d like to see a press photo of an arts executive sitting in the venue surrounded by a sold-out house instead of the usual acres of empty seats.
