Hello new followers! 👋🏽 Let me introduce myself! I’m based in the US. I started off working non-clinically in the emergency department, and had dreams of going to medical school. Sadly, that didn’t work out. I’m now working in the administrative side of healthcare 1/

it’s frustrating because I want to break into tech but, I haven’t found something I like. I’m being patient and giving myself grace. Switching industries is really really hard.

confession: I don’t think coding or being a developer is for me. after attempting it several times, I really just don’t like it. I’m leaning towards data analysis atm.

I’d love to work in healthcare cybersecurity or healthcare robotics. How do you get into those fields from being a full stack developer (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)? What languages or certifications do you need? (I’m genuinely asking - please be nice! I’m a newbie to tech)

For everyone asking me for advice: please reach out to actual developers or engineers for questions or career advice! I am a student who finished one day of a coding class and randomly went viral on here LOL. Please don’t ask me for career advice 😂

I’m in my late 20s and it’s ok to restart your career path. I want to work really hard and one day give back to the same community that helped me! I’m scared but, excited! Thank you for your support, encouragement, and following me on this journey 💛 4/4

It is a daunting task and I’ve been doing a few courses online without success. A friend told me about #100devs. I am so glad I learned about this community and started on my journey to become a full stack developer. 3/

I am incredibly grateful for my journey. I’ve realized that my job was not challenging me or fulfilling me. I still feel stuck. I decided to make the move from healthcare into tech because I want to learn new skills & work really hard at something I’m passionate about. 2/
