As someone who works in Gurgaon, Visits Chandigarh very often and visits Punjab to meet cousins and family regularly, this makes complete sense & most citizens of these places would agree too.
āIf politics is driving these decisions, then why canāt Gurgaon be made the capital of Haryana and Amritsar the capital of Punjab, while Chandigarh is left as it is? #Chandigarh

Not true at all, Marutiās True Value alone is third largest retailer of cars in India, after Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai/Tata Motors. Imagine how many more are sold in unorganised second hand sector.
Most people donāt buy second-hand cars in India, just because of societal pressure. What do you prefer?

Sad but very true. 10cr is too high though, but keeping inflation in mind 4-5cr really is the comfort zone if you want to do SWP in 10 years at 4 percent withdrawal per year and be content with your lifestyle
ā¹1Cr is not middle class in India. If you had ā¹1Cr, you can't: - Buy a decent 2BHK House - Go on Euro trip with family - Get enough interest to live off FD - Leave job to spend time with family Stop being fake rich, aim for ā¹10Cr.

Same with Hondaā¦Civic launched in 2006 still looks Ok on the road, not outdated at all. Last gen City looks good too.
@ashishmasih1 This is the point where you can say Skoda designs timeless cars. Tata and Mahindra cars are beautiful, but after a few years, the design feels odd and old.

I tried to convince her to allow me the 1-litre Tsi automatic but dealership guy himself dissuaded me ākya sir, 4-5 lakh rupees extra daal do, 1.5 toh 1.5 haiā¦apse acha kisko pata yeh baatāā¦wahin kahani khatam because my Eco was selling only for 5 lakhā¦.boooohoooo šš
I also want to buy a Virtus 1.5 DSG...but my wife keeps showing me my bank balance.... šš£ and how I need to save for the future...so I am still driving my beaten old ECOSPORT AUTOMATIC.

No doubt #Honda city offers a very well appointed cabin and ride. VTEC is no nonsense and CVT is hassle free too. But once you drive the #VW Virtusā¦
