NEW VENUE FOR 2024! 🏫🔧❌Due to unforeseen urgent building work required during the summer holidays, the School of Art Building is no longer available for the exhibition. But... 🧵

With more entries than ever before, our judges will have a challenge selecting pieces to be on display at the historic Burslem School of Art this summer. Over the next week, we’ll introduce you to our judging panel!

The school once taught the likes of Arthur Berry, Clarice Cliff, Susie Cooper and William Bowyer, to name a few and now teaches the young people of the city! 🧑‍🎨There is no set theme; instead the exhibition looks to celebrate the creativity of the area.

🌷 The exhibition has been running for over 11 years, in different forms and places. It’s been at the historic Burslem School of Art since 2017. 🏛️The Open takes place in the historic Burslem School of Art in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, opposite the Wedgwood Institute.
