We were thrilled that the Shakers Group from the @ADBCC777 were able to join us, including Sandra Smith and her sister Doreen Robinson whose father served in the No. 2 Construction Battalion that Sankofa: The Soldier's Tale Retold is based on, to meet librettist Titilope Sonuga.

We were honoured to host historian Kathy Grant on our opening night of Sankofa: The Soldier's Tale Retold. Kathy has spent her career tirelessly working to ensure that the sacrifice of Black Canadian Veterans is not forgotten. Learn more about her work:
