Halina‘s talk was a fantastic example of how important it is to share our experiences across ages. I have learned so much from Halina and her work with @EldersNewcastle & @UKNICAofficial‘s #VoiceGlobal over the years. Hearing her speak @paarnet today was inspiring. 👏🏼
The International Knowledge Exchange Event on Community and Place kicked off with an inspiring speech by Helena Figon, older co-creator of PAAR-Net. She powerfully emphasized the importance of meaningful participation of older adults for a truly cohesive society.

I was fortunate to have spent the last week in Shanghai at this meeting, working together with other researchers and WHO age-friendly cities offices on a knowledge and practice exchange. Thank you @xu_wenqian for hosting 🙏🏼
