Our investigation 🔎 in the garden turned into a whole afternoon of learning. Predictions as to what ate the leaves. Some research to further clarify our theories, and tomorrow, we will continue.

What a beautiful day today was at High Park Toronto! Thankfully, the rain held off while we were out and about exploring with the kindergarten students.

#gardenclub @BeaumondeBHJMS was in full effect today! We identified weeds and how they take over our lawn and also reflected on some of the insects that benefit from their presence. Since we are planting a pollinator garden we will get rid of the weeds. @EcoSchoolsCAN

The grade 8 students in @mrccheney class spent the morning helping the eco/gardening team move 6 large garden beds to our new locations. They worked extra hard today! Now we need to match their energy with our gardening skills. #LetsGo @BeaumondeBHJMS @PrincipalBuall
