If you end up taking the cat in as a pet, or decide to foster, here are some helpful dos and don’ts when introducing a new cat to a new home.

Make sure you do your due diligence in trying to find the cat’s owner. Even at a shelter they will require a few days time as a “stray hold” before allowing the cat to be adopted.

Hobi mentioned he rescued a cat with eye issues at an early age. This is a common medical problem in young cats, often caused by infectious respiratory illnesses, that in severe circumstances can lead to the cat losing an eye. Make sure you can handle medical decisions like this!

Feral or frightened cats can be dangerous and may injure you if you do not pay attention to their body language and social cues.

Getting into cat rescue is hard work and can be expensive. It is important to consider if you have the time, money, or resources to help a stray cat.

How is ASD managed? Autism spectrum disorder is a complex condition requiring an individualized and comprehensive approach tailored to each child and adult's age and specific strengths and weaknesses.

How is ASD diagnosed? Diagnosing ASD involves identifying and reporting behavioral clinical symptoms using the DSM-V-TR diagnostic criteria. A clinician trained to diagnose ASD using these criteria can integrate historical information and objective observation.
