Delighted to be speaking at this event. Is it an insect bite? Or is it an EM rash which is diagnostic of Lyme disease? Come and learn more from Dr Anne Cruikshank and I. Who's going?

We were delighted to attend the @CommunityWoods Annual Conference in Inverness yesterday! There was great interest in the topic of ticks and tick borne diseases. Delegates were able to take away leaflets, posters and we had a lot of interest in our signage project.

According to this important survey of people who had confirmed cases of Lyme disease, 82% of people had not made a full recovery. This is just one of the hard-hitting statistics presented. Large changes come from many small steps. How could you help make a difference?
We are pleased to share results from our recent Lyme Disease Experience Survey. Thanks to everyone who responded, we had an amazing response & are very grateful to all who took part! We have an overview for 🇬🇧& 🇮🇪 combined, all 🇬🇧, 🇮🇪 only & 🏴 only. https://t.co/nO2PxFwapS

So glad you came and heard from those who had prompt diagnosis of #LymeDisease and treatment… and from @MorvenMay who sadly didn’t.Think we all agree more needs to be done to raise tick awareness by @ScotParl together with @LymeResourceCtr #prevention better than cure
Thanks to @LymeResourceCtr for an invite to the reception @ScotParl at the start of #LymeDiseaseAwarenessMonth. As someone who enjoys being outdoors it’s so important to know the risks and actions to take if bitten.
