All of this discussion of AI on the edge seems binary - AI on the edge or on the cloud. The truth is much more grey & depends on the use case. A better reframing might be "Local First" - build today for taking local data & using it on the cloud and slowly shift use cases to edge!

Trump's economy is being held up by a massive AI bubble. A recent study found that of 300 companies that owned generative AI tools, 95% reported zero return on their investments. We will not entertain a bailout of these companies should this bubble pop.

To me Sora 2 & GPT mini voice models were the winners of today’s announcements. Doubt one agent builder is a winner take all, - will go the GPT App Store route IMHO, apps in ChatGPT - meh. The battle of app layer is on - surface still matters (ads/$$).

The message about max length or network errors is the icing on the cake when it happens for empty conversations. User's shouldn't be seeing half of these messages. On top of it we end up wasting time and tokens when the conversations disappear! Its a mess!
