Also, it feels strange celebrating something like this when so many friends in LA are currently hurting and going through such devastation. Continually sending my love to all my friends.

So again, I say thank you for the love on these albums, and I hope you dig the new one. You can still order Mile End: The Collection (vinyl) which includes all three albums until Jan 24. This year is just getting started and I can’t wait to share whats next.

These albums are for you. They are for listening with your fave set of headphones or just playing in the background while you’re cooking dinner. You have proved that there is a space for this kind of music and approach and none of these would’ve happened without your support.

I was advised by my team at the time that it probably wasn’t a good idea to put something like this out, but something in my gut told me that it was important for this to see the light of day. Here we are 5 years later, and Mile End III, the third and final album.

What came from this session were enough improvised pieces for a full album. I felt weird about putting out solo improvised guitar music because I’m such a song guy and it wasn’t the type of project I would actually put out, but more so just showcase in clips online.

5 years ago on a thursday evening in November, I went to Hotel2Tango in Montreal with a couple guitars and no real plan. I hired a videographer with the idea of just plugging in, playing and seeing what happens. I had no real agenda other then having some videos to show for.
